Hola. I’m Karina Pérez-Fajardo, a multidisciplinary product designer with a design and architectural background who has lived in both Mexico and the United States throughout the course of my lifetime and career. I’m driven by passion, collaboration, and great teamwork.

I approach each problem as an opportunity to resolve the issue, with the mindset of it being tangible, serviceable, and thoughtfully solved. I believe in the power of empathy, curiosity, research, and identification of root cause/source issues as “superpowers,” and I look for insights to clarify and challenge assumptions. Therefore, my user experiences are created with the intent to inspire positive change and make meaningful differences.

I thrive on things that have to do with problem identification, user/stakeholder-focus resolutions, product & visual design, storytelling, branding, typography, design systems, user interfaces, and minimalism.

A bit more about me

When not working on design or passion projects, you can find me traveling, serving on the board for the Dallas Society of Visual Communications, volunteering at local city events, learning new things, visiting museums, enjoying coffee shops and architectural spaces. I love a good book, ice cream, and sushi. I’m on a quest to learn how to cook and talk about food, and neurodiversity. I also firmly believe in the power of smiling and finding joy in the things one does.
